STORY TIME AND PLAY
This class will focus on play, nursery rhymes, and free play.
Nursery: 2-4 yrs

PERSONAL PICTURE BOOKS
We will analyze how words and pictures work together to create a story, including when they tell different stories! We will learn about different awards and why they are giving. We will primarily focus on writing personal and collaborative picture books of our own.
Classroom 2: 4-6 yrs

HEALTH & FITNESS + SNACK
Get moving and learn how to work as a team! This class will cover how to live a well balanced healthy life. We will cover the different types of health, nutrition, and exercise skills. This will be an active class! It will include a healthy snack.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
This class will teach emotional intelligence such as developing empathy, understanding emotions, managing stress, etc. It will be taught through an imaginative story and then practiced through activities or games to reinforce what was learned.

MOTION AND SIMPLE MACHINES
This class is based off The Good & the Beautiful class. “The brand-new Motion and Simple Machines course is filled with hands-on activities! Students will learn about motion and force, gravity, pulleys, levers, and so much more in this one-of-a-kind unit study. See Newton’s laws put into action and document the ways machines make our lives easier. Then build your own machine on our unique “Project Day” final lesson!”

PROFESSIONAL PREPAREDNESS
In this class we will practice building resumes, identifying good work characteristics and how to describe ourselves professionally for a resume. We will learn principles of good interviewing and will prepare for mock interviews.

Music, movement, munchies
The purpose is to get the littles out of the nursery, singing, and moving. Also, feeding them since they’re always hungry.

knitting 2
We will practice the skills learned in knitting 1 (garter stitch, casting off and stuffing work) and introduce new skills (casting on, adding and reducing stitches and sewing up work). They will do this with two, maybe three, projects. One will be practical and cozy and one will be playful and cuddly.

simple cooking for simple meals
The purpose of this class is to give kids some independence in the kitchen. I would love to teach them simple meals (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) they can prepare for themselves or their families.

Myths, Heroes, and Monsters: Exploring Ancient Greek Archetypes
Step into the world of Ancient Greece, where gods rule the skies, heroes face impossible challenges, and monsters lurk in shadowy myths. In this class, kids will uncover the powerful stories behind figures like Zeus, Athena, and Persephone, exploring timeless lessons about leadership, courage, and creativity. Through storytelling, hands-on crafts, and thought-provoking discussions, students will discover how these ancient tales still resonate today. Perfect for curious minds who love adventure and the magic of storytelling!

C.S. Lewis and the Inklings Writing Group
This class will read and delve into the works of C.S. Lewis. We will also pair that with a writing group that mimics the Inklings group that he and J.R.R. Tolkien were in together.

This class will be a relaxed time to explore, play with toys, and use play dough.

March Mammal Madness
We will learn about how brackets work by reviewing this year’s March Mammal Madness “games”. Each person will choose an animal to learn about more. In class we will create art/posters/reports then share them, along with following how the series progresses and learning more about each winning animal. We would end with an animal celebration. We could share our work at a showcase.

Cool Habitats and Geography
In this class we will be learning about the Arctic regions of the world while in winter with the last lesson talking about the Arctic bee. Then, in March we will move on to regular bees and beekeeping. April’s study will include Mycology and Herbology. Our last class will include a Harry Potter Herbology Class.

Lego club
Show creativity in building each week with different project ideas and challenges. There will be a show and tell each week where we focus on proper presentation techniques (speaking clearly, eye contact, etc.) Bring your own Legos.

Media Experimentation
In this class students will learn about different mediums in art. Exploring a different medium each week with a final project at the end of the semester. This class will be taught to the highest age level of the students registered but can accommodate younger ages who have a keen interest and attention span for art and the ability to follow direction and be respectful to materials. Materials that might be included are: watercolor, acrylic paint, oil pastels, soft pastels, charcoal, paint marbling, colored pencil, block printing, and 3D clay.
